San Francisco Area Map

This map is based on Archie's explorations, along with help from people who have lived in the city for years. It's meant to offer a "mental picture" of the city, creating an immediate nostalgic understanding for old timers and a helpful navigation tool for newcomers.

Information is more fun to read when it's beautiful. Archie's Press has designed these charts and maps with hours of research, reassembling data into a brain-friendly aesthetic. They have edited the information significantly, avoiding the "dazzle" effect which occurs when our eyes are battered with too much information.
